Botanicals and Fruit

  Flowers and plants are a subject that I haven't explored with paint since just after college.  I grew up helping my parents in their garden, and now spend a lot of time working in my own.  Also, for the last four years I have been working as a wedding and event florist in Charleston- needless to say, looking at and thinking about flowers is actually a large part of my life.  

  It might be because of this that I haven't been painting flowers, I wanted to get to a place where I felt I could do them justice.  I'll continue to add to this collection as I complete new pieces!
