One evening last fall (2016), we drove out to Edisto to have dinner with some friends of ours who had rented a beach house for the week. There was a tropical depression moving across Charleston- and as we were driving home over the Dawhoo River Bridge we caught this view of the sun setting on the back of the storm. The colors were so vibrant, it was hard to believe! When working on this one I kept trying to tone them down, it looked too wild- but it really was this colorful, if not more so.
This is an original piece created with acrylic paint and soft crayons on stretched canvas. The sides are painted white and it is signed by Elise. Colors may vary slightly in person and all pieces are shipped via UPS from Charleston, South Carolina
